National Museum of the United States Air Force This is THE best aircraft museum. It is every expanding and changing. Be sure to schedule at least one full day just to see the basics. You really need 2 or 3 days to take it all in. In the summer, the museum sometimes has tours of their restoration facilities so be sure check into it. |

Society of Flight Test Engineers (SFTE) This professional fraternity promotes the fellowship and technical development of engineers who provide the aerospace industry with information needed to provide safe and effective products. SFTE sponsors and is involved in numerous conferences and workshops worldwide. |

A non-profit group that maintains and operates a replica of the first aircraft ever manufactured, the Wright Brothers’ Model B Flyer. These volunteers continue to educate the public on the contribution of the Wright Brothers to aviation and the Dayton area. Sam has been part of a team building another Wright Model B look alike that will be easily transported. |
